To clarify, it's not the ramblings of a twenty-something beared man from Maryland. Now if we can just decipher what they're saying, maybe we can prove old Chakat man right once and for all!!!

Uh we have a problem.

I listened to those, and they telepathically sent me a message. The whale that spoke to me just said that his people volunteered for genetic mutations to survive in earths oceans. They once HAD thumbs but gave them up in order to escape the dreaded headbands that restricted their telepathy.

The person or the clock? If the persons completely smashed I doubt they're fully aware of what the clock says anyway...

I was thinking more in terms of a kaputt battery, but the sledgehammer option works just as well.
