These are the voyages?

Post by Sonic Glitch »

What do we want to do folks? We seem to face the same problem as Daystrom, quite a bit of stagnation. Any suggestions. We could pull the "1 year later" card, that would also allow us, if necessary, to reshuffle who is participating in case people are having scheduling issues.

I'm first yay!

I like the idea of skipping ahead, leaving the nasty cliff hanger of just as we were about to do the rescue. No one knows who survived and who didn't.

Till we tell them.

I up for it, this isn't as time consuming as the sims, so I can work it out pretty easily.

And we could always have it that the ship is lost, and now this is another ship on it's way to find the first ship, and until they are found we have no idea what happened.

That could be fun. Do we know enough about the Daedalus' to be able to write it?

Probably not. I/we/others would have to propose some specifications for us to go with, or go with the Daedalus ones on DITL. On a personal level I don't really think the DITL stats are accurate when it relates to size or warp speed. I think it would be more of a 300-400 metre ship as opposed to the 121m she's at (considering the NX is some 225m on DITL) and I'd peg the warp speed at 5.5 or 6. BUT that's just me.

I'd say finish this one first. It's not in a hard spot.....or just narrate it through.

But we need to take a new poll, to see whose still playing.

And where the heck we are. I can't remember where we are in all fairness, and what we intended to do after this bit.

Reliant....we are rescuing my character whose just escaped from his cell with an Orion slave girl. The ship is in combat now. If you want to lose the ship, now would be a decent time.

Wait... you're trying to get OUT of the small confined space where you were trapped with an Orion slave girl?

If someone can write up the saviour of you're character, go ahead.

Losing the ships to the Romulans is good and convenient, but how do we save the escape pods and the appropriated craft used to transport you're character off world?

The survivors can steal an Orion one.

Tyyr....read my last couple of posts, and you'll understand why

That's good with me, but we still have a pair of Romulan Warbird's in orbit. Any shuttle or escape pod is going to get swatted.
