World of Tanks

World of Tanks

A new, well newish, game out. One the new brand that is free to play but you pay for "premium" content. The premise is not unlike a deathmatch but with accurately modeled WWII tanks, tank destroyers, and artillery. Now impact on your system, a lot of fun for me as a tank buff.

Just "Tank battle", like that, doesn't really do it for me for now. I mean, in a tank, you feel clumsy and slow. If you face infantry, there is a fun associated with resisting all the ennemy can throw at you, but if the focus in on Tank vs Tank, then I feel I would get frustrated more than anything else if I find out I lack tactical thinking.

Because, in the end, a good Tank vs Tank battle is about tactical positioning more than hair trigger reflexes. Is the game going to have a command structure for multiplayer, to allow some players to coordinate others?

I happen to live in a refinery/shipping heavy state, and even I can say - yes, you were the only one thinking that.
