Okay, I know those toys. I've seen the ads. I didn't know they were on TV. I thought they were like The Cabbage Patch Kids.
There was the original in the 80s and 90's. Right now there's 'Friendship is Magic'. Generation four, basically.

They had a variety of enemies. Only one group, the Witches of Gloom Mountain repeated. But trust me, some of them were fuckin' metal! Tirac the demonic centaur, Grogar the Lord of Tambelon, Lavan the lava demon. Oh, and the Smooze.

They fight 'Discord'. He's voiced by John de Lancie and is very similar, yes. But he's not Q.
