I'm watching the original My Little Pony from the 80's and loving it. And I don't care what anyone thinks.

Next up will be Care Bears?RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:I'm watching the original My Little Pony from the 80's and loving it. And I don't care what anyone thinks.

Re: A new random thread
Age check: my daughter played ball with a girl named Darrien, whose nickname on the team was "Dar-bear." When my daughter - Carolyn - joined the team, some of the girls started calling her "Car-bear." When I made reference to the actual Care Bears, she had no idea about what I was talking.McAvoy wrote:Next up will be Care Bears?RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:I'm watching the original My Little Pony from the 80's and loving it. Okay, I know those toys. I've seen the ads. I didn't know they were on TV. I thought they were like The Cabbage Patch Kids.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:I'm watching the original My Little Pony from the 80's and loving it. And I don't care what anyone thinks.

Yeah. I remember having to watch it when I was little because I was the only boy in the room.

I used to watch care bears. One of five boys, and I remember we had Care Bears on video back then.

Re: A new random thread
What did the My Little Pony show involve? Did they have enemies? Like He-Man had Skeletor or The Thundercats had Mum-Ra?
About the Care Bears, did they have a crossover with G.I. Joe? Something about drugs? Or maybe depression? I think I saw them once doing some kind of Afterschool special.

Hell if I remember. All I know it is probably one of the more girlish shows ever made.
