Ever wonder why you really like Jurassic Park, but were a bit underwhelmed by Jurassic World?
This is why.

This was great. Funny, thought provoking, and poignant. I don't understand how directors like Steven Spielberg can see the world in metaphors. I understood that Alan Grant's journey from being afraid of kids, to putting his life on the life to save, care, and comfort children. I never would have seen the egg metaphors. I never saw God and the Devil as well. I did not connect the T-Rex to Alan Grant's journey. Nor did I understand the birds at the end as the evolution metaphor as the evolution of dinosaurs and the evolution of Alan Grant.Graham Kennedy wrote:Ever wonder why you really like Jurassic Park, but were a bit underwhelmed by Jurassic World?

I got some of it, but missed like 90% of what he's talking about. But as one of my favourite reviewers likes to say, "you may not have noticed it... but your brain did."
