Warhammer 40K Section

Post by Tyyr »

In the Other TV & Movies Section would it be possible to have a Warhammer 40K section? The "Other" section is sort of a general other sci-fi catch all but I didn't know if there would be any interest in a dedicated section for WH40K.

If there's a way to make it a catch-all, to include the WH/WH40k books, video games, etc., etc., then I think it makes sense.

Do we really need one? We don't really have all that many 40K threads on the board, after all.

Agreed - all the other new fora (Trek XI, SW, STP) have had a sizeable amount of stuff waiting to be moved into them. 40k threads are much rarer, and can be handled by O/G.

Maybe a "sub-thread" in the O\G section may make it easier for those W40K guys. Like in the arts and design section.

Betcha I can post enough WH40K threads on my own to get us a forum! ;)

This seems to make sense to me. With all the RP and topic that we cover. Why not have a place to talk about all things 40k?

It depends. If we want to move everything to a new forum, it makes sense. If we're going to leave the RP's in the RP section, the books in the book section, etc., then there isn't enough other stuff to warrant a new forum.

If we're going to start getting Tyyr started on stuff like "lascannon vs. multilaser: discuss," then we're going to need a whole new BBS. ;)

Well, much like SW, or B5. We'd move everything I'd think. Other then the RPs that is. However, a whole section to its own would make it easier to start up more topics without cluttering the O/G subsection. It's worked well for the SW at least.

Mostly it's a clutter thing. I've got at least three threads I can start right now. Two I'm actually about to.

Then having a section would work better then just random spots over the Forum.

I'm going to move some of my 40k stuff to the O/G section. Soon it shall belong to the Emperor!

FOR THE EMPEROR!

Anywho, I'm going to be plotting location points for my IG. Would anyone be interested in doing the same?

I'm basing mine out in the Centaurus Spiral Arm.

And now the General section is full of unread posts.
You really want that section, eh?
