DITL Battle #7 Stitch vs Seafort Comments Thread
This is the comments thread for the Battle #7.
In Nemesis, it is clearly obvious that the two commanders of the fighting ships were utterly incompetent, taking time out of their battle to make tea times, and staring at an enemy ship as it prepares to ram. The outcomes of this battle we can there by say was pure luck for the Enterprise...or was it.
Here to finally settle the question of who would really win in a reenactment of that battle, Captain Stitch has elected to take his Sovereign Class ship up against Captain Seafort in the Scimitar. Both Captains are prepared to risk their lives, so that this debate may finally have an answer.
Good luck to both of them.

I give it to the Scimitar. You can't kill what you can't see.

yup, it was off by a factor of 10...oh well, fixed now...it's not like Stitch would have wanted to move 4 million + km in a turn anyway

You kidding? If I was going up against a Scimitar, I sure as hell would want to move as fast as possible.

Teaos and Reliant aren't moving much, at least I don't think they are...

no, you made the comment that against a Scimitar you'd want to move as much as possible, I was commenting that Teaos and Reliant (who are facing us, me as a Scimitar) aren't moving.

You might want to PM both participants in case they've forgotten they're up next.

I PM'd them to let them know I was setting up, and again once I got the posts up asking for conn orders, just waiting on Stitch now.

well, two things:
1. you've got one free shot at his forward section now, assuming everything hits you could leave a serious hole in his cloak,
2. You never know if he'll successfully cloak.
