The Romulan Empire invades the Delta Quadrant...

Post by SuperSaiyaMan12 »

Starting at the point where Voyager Arrived. They have 1000 D'Derinex-class Warbirds and 500 Norexan-class Warbirds. What happens to the Delta Quadrant and how much territory can the Romulans hold?

I'm going with "not much" seeing as you sent 1500 warships in with no logistical support, better hope they can adapt the crap that's there for use on their ships.

How about this then?

The Fleet has all the information Voyager got during its journey through the Delta Quadrant. What races there are, how much resources there are, etc.

Well that's better but you really should throw in some freighters (or whatever they use for hauling supplies around) in case they can't take anything usable before their ammo, parts, food runs out.

I know that ST doesn't really show that side of things very well but the key to a campaign is in the logistics.

They have freighters, transports, and everything. I just included the main battle force.

It would be nice to know what the Romulan's goals here are. Do they want breathing room, a place to grow cheap food, slaves, gold, what?

It'd also be nice to know where they enter, coming in through Kazon territory is probably going to grant them some easy victories. Coming in through Borg or Hirogen space would be tougher going.

Well, depending on which area they choose, they could probably take a few nice planets.

They want more territory to add to their Empire. They want the resources and everything the Delta Quadrant has so they could fuel up a war against the Federation and Klingons in the span of 20-30 years. Not only that, they come in through Kazon Territory.

Do they have a stable link, or are they stuck out there like Voyager was?

A stable wormhole is their link to the Delta Quad.

They'll walk the Kazon and most of the season one and two races. After that, they're going to slow to a crawl and find themselves losing more then they gain.

So, we are assuming a Romulan scientist has created a stable wormhole to the Ocampan system then, to expand the Empire. They move the force you mention before in, with all needed logistical support, AND because of the wormhole, re-enforcements are a phone call away.

By what YOU have laid out, the Romulans would do as well as they like. They could easily conquer all resistance that Voyager struggled with until the met the Borg or the Voth. They could expand until their resources ran out, then simply call for more supplies and expand some more.

Next?
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.
