So whats the problem with using the Venstar as an escort carrier? :?

Since it has 420 fighters and bombers. An Escort Carrier would have far, far less.

If it's an escort you want the VenStar would be fine - indeed, it's guns would be a considerable advantage. I think I probably got TR-116'd into thinking we were talking about carriers generally.

Why? A proper fleet carrier would have thousands, so what the problem with a few hundred for an escort?

Ok, thats good. For a mini-cruiser its a great ship.

Agreed, the idea of a SSD as a dedicated carrier is a scary and awesome thought!

Ok, I'm working on the Imperial Navy (Galactic Civil War) as of now. However, I'm building it off the plan that I and several others in the "Crush the Rebellion" thread worked up. So, I can't remember everyone so if you see something that reminds you of something you added in just let me know and I'll edit to keep it true to your input.
