That sounds really familiar....that could be it!
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Yeah. I hated my Jacksonian History class so I'm pretty sketchy in that time period.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Sorry but taking a course over a President's life was not my idea of fun. No European history was offered during that time and my school doesn't do cool things like non-western history. Jackson was a great man but doesn't deserve an undergraduate course over him.

I was kind of wondering that myself. Are you a relative of Jackson, Deep?

I'm a historian saying my knowledge of a area of history that has nothing to do with what I like is sketchy.
Is your history of Cambodia up to par for example?

You can be an expert in history and still have weak spots.

But even in your area of history you're still weak... so much potential for flaming...

Oh well, I'm sure something will come up that sooner or later will give me another reason. :happydevil:

In Russia? I think I'm pretty knowledgeable. And I saying I'm a little light in Jacksonian history is still relative. I know that I know more than the average person. I know Clay, Calhoun, canals, supreme court cases, national bank, etc. But like Colonial history, Jacksonian just doesn't interest me a whole lot. No historian would say they're an expert on every area of history and plenty of historians would say they're a bit rusty on certain areas that don't interest them as much as others. Rusty like forgetting the name of an Indian chief in a minor engagement. Its all relative. I know you're jumping for a chance to get back at me for ignoring you but seriously sometimes when someone is honest about their own skills and faults it doesn't mean that they're completely clueless about a subject like you'd believe. It just means they're honest and know themselves. There's a limit to everyone's understanding and we're all influenced by experiences in our life on how we understand things we read.

I'm still waiting on those historian examples in that other thread. :poke:

I was holding off on that for other threads that mattered. You've already been stomped on it. I figured the burial party could wait. :poke:

Oh come now, that's a matter of opinion. Even you could admit I have supported my conclusions. You may think they're wrong conclusions but I have supported them. And you've seen the fleet I would support them with (Not in enough detail yet I'll get that up soon). And I've changed at least one person's opinion of the plan.

Reply to me in that thread so we don't hijack this one ;)
