Battle Royal
Well I remember this being suggested awhile ago and thought it sounded interesting (as well insanely complicated).
What I'm thinking is a 5 way all for one. Your free to make unoffical alliances if you wish but there are no rules and your free to gang up on, or stab in the back, who ever you like.
To be fair, since first in first serves isnt really fair for people on different time zones I figure anyone interested can say so, pick any of the ships they want (people can choose the same ship as someone else, we may end up with 5 of the same ship...) and then if we get more than 5 people I'll draw names out of a hat for the 5 who want in.
I'll say now that I will proably be working at Rochey pace so don't worry if you don't think your time table will allow it, chances are you'll have days if not weeks for each turn.

Strike groups
The Akira can field 3 strike groups of 5 craft, these craft must stay in their 5 unit strike team, they have an endurance of 4 turns before they must return to the mothership. Once at the mothership they must be docked for one whole turn not including the turn they return to ship before they can be launched again, this effectively resets their endurance and reloads them. It is the commanders duty to make sure the craft do not get so far away from the ship as to be unable to return in due time.
The craft in a strike group must all be of the same type although the different strike groups can be of different makes.
Craft may go into "evasive" mode which increases the odds of dodging enemy fire but it drops speed by 1/3.

This sounds like it may be fun, I'm game for it, I want the Sovereign, because I stink at these IMO, so I kinda like the curpstomp ship, but I'll still probably lose. lol
