I ordered the Blood Angels Omnibus and I'm wondering if anyone here has read it? James Swallow is normally quite good but the description on the site is causing me to question that.

Haven't read it, but it's on my list. I don't think Swallow is up there with Abnett, but I've always enjoyed his work.

This book is horrible Mikey, not Soul Drinkers bad mind you but the amount of idiocy is rather annoying and worst of all...I wound up not giving a shit about the characters.

Ehh... the Twilight chapter...

Nothing from them is ever good IMO.

Well it wasn't a total waste of cash, at least it gave me a look at a chapter I never bothered with before.

I've never been impressed with the BA, they just seem to spend most of their time crying. If I have to deal with a chapter that is emo, I at least want an emo chapter that does something. i.e. the Dark Angels or Black Templars.
