Here's my question... if you poop in a holodeck toilet, does it end up on the ground after?!

That's a good question, I expect it would.

What would be funny to see in a later series is a guy crapping and when he's done a pair of boots pop out of a side hatch in the toilet.

I'm slightly torn. We know you can eat the holo-food and it becomes real matter, so I I'm wondering if there's a waste-matter reclamation bit in the holodeck as well. My god that'd be a funny site though, the yellow/black grid and a big pile of steaming dookie in the corner.

Well... why would you go in the holodeck? And there is the fact that the ship 'cleans itself' according to RIker in 'Up the Long Ladder'. So maybe that's part of it.

Maybe we'll see Reboot Picard come around the corner on Reboot E-D's corridor and see a crewmen squatting in the corner.

Picard: *glares*

Crewman: SIr, the ship cleans itself!

Well if you were in there for a long period of time?

The Holodecks must be over booked as it is, if the crewmembers are going to start using them as bathrooms on a ship full of women, you'll never get into one.
