Post any comments you have on my story, hopefully I'll be getting the rest of the first part up today, I may not though.

8 hours to the Klingon border seems awfully fast. For example, based on the conjectural Star Trek Star Charts, and a top cruising speed of, say, warp 6 (old scale), and without factoring in warp highways, that trip might take half a year. (Although obviously, Trek doesn't often hold itself to strict standards for travel times.)

Yeah, I figure that I can take those liberties as well.

The whole first part is up if anyone wants to read it, I edited the posts to consolidate it.

Part II is up, I'll edit it until it's finished, which could be today, or in a month, depending on whatever happens in life.
