Hard to say... should hopefully get the last of the bricks in today and the steps sorted too. Then I have to put the capping stones on the walls, but I haven't found ones I like yet. Once I do, all that's left is lifting the old flags and getting all the new ones down.
Trouble is I'm back at work tomorrow, so it might be next weekend before I can get to it.

A phaser and a tractor beam would make things much easier.

Pretty much done now! Just need to clean the excess mortar off the bricks and do a bit of levelling once the flags have settled, and all is done! Most of the rubbish is already gone from the lawn area, by the way!

Don't forget the rockery!
Seriously though, good job on it. I know I sure as hell would never do all that on my own.
On another note, is it just me, or is your garden very narrow.

Yeah, used that to bring down the old wall and break up the old flags.Granitehewer wrote:you appear to have 'mjolnir'-Thors' hammer, am not talking about any double entendres, but rather that immense DIY tool you have, which alas does sound like a double entendre, damn
Actually when a "DITL booze up" was mooted, I considered suggesting that.celeritas wrote:very nice! now you can have us all over at your house for a barbecue or something, graham!
