Star Trek 25th Anniversary Special

Has anyone seen this? I remember taping it as an 8 year old kid, but haven't watched it in at least 15 years, I'd guess. It was on Biography channel yesterday.

Shatner and Nemoy host a 2 hour special about Trek's history, have great interviews, random clips, etc. We see LeVar Burton at space camp, some of the last interviews with Gene Roddenbery, etc.

Its quite dated, but really brought back some good memories for me, especially its preview of Star Trek VI at the end, which I was SO excited about as a kid, I dreamed my own movie every night in anticipation. (Still do that when the new movies are approaching). If you can find it, its worth the watch.

I didn't watch that, but I did watch Shatner's interview of Nimoy, which was awesome.

I think I saw the same show on cable a few days back. Not bad, but it was a bit of an ego trip for Shatner.

On the subject of the dreams, Bryan, did you have any about the upcoming film yet?

Yes, a couple I don't quite remember, early on when I saw the teaser trailer. Not much lately, though. Truthfully for the last 4 months, my dreams have all been focused on my particular life situation, about 90% of the time. Hopefully as it gets closer, though!

I've seen it. My second sister bought it. It is quite fun to watch. I especially loved the bloopers. :)

This has been on again a few times in the last 2 weeks on Biography, as well as "Captain's Logs" which was a 1994 program hosted by Shatner. Both are wonderful, as was the 30th aniversary special. It made me wonder what's gonna happen in 2016 for the 50th. I really hope we get a great 2 hour documentary, or something, especially seeing the new popularity.

We'll probably have had two awesome sequels by then.
