Post by Foxfyre »

Hey you all just wondering whats your favorite out of the new BSG.

For me Its hard to pick (most of mine are in the first season) as most of them have good quality ot them.

Hmm...33, Water and Bastille Day. They all convey just how desperate things are without the descent into a Livejournal entry that the series became. Hero was also an excellent stand alone episode.

I have to agree with your picks 33 and water are two of the best I think, also the one where starbuck gets stranded is decent as well (can't remember the name of the episode.) as there were some good character building moments there.

You Can't Go Home Again is the one IIRC.

The first episode, 33, is my favourite to date.

Which one is 33? Is that the one where they have to jump every 33 minutes cuz the cylons are tracking them? I don't remember much of the earlier seasons.

That's the one - the first episode of the series proper.

I loved that scene.

Aye, that's how a warship should die. Going down all guns blazing.

I just watched it on YouTube. Pretty damn amazing.

Same FX company that did Firefly and Serenity; their work is pretty awesome. I actually like the "shaky-cam" effect; it looks more like documentary footage.
