The Enterprise gets her voice

Post by Graham Kennedy »

It's been announced that Majel Barret will provide the voice for the Enterprise computer in Star Trek XI.

I like it. :)

I like good news.
No trees were killed in transmission of this message. However, some electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

Unfortunately I find this news soured by her playing Troi's mother. I can't hear her voice without picturing that nutcase, happened to me with Andromeda.:(

Hopefully, she'll have that monotone voice like the TOS computer, not the voice from TNG and beyond.

I'm very glad to hear it. Not only is it a nod to continuity, but Majel certainly deserves all the recognition that 'Trek can give her and more.

Yes, the forum welcomes you. Please don't resist, as that would only take bandwidth from people who aren't.

Be a good sport and give in to the :DITL: forum. Remember, resistance is futile.
