Wow! Good find, GK. That bridge is one hell of a reset! I like it, although it reminds me very much of a Lloyd Wright design.

I'm stunned that they have stuck with the uniform designs as much as they have. The sets look very clean and shiny... a million miles away from the whole grungy space truck Alien look.

I'm not surprised at that. I think "new" was part of Abrams' mindset from the get-go.

Looks pretty cool. At the very least, Zachary Quinto is going to be awesome as Spock.

I dunno... look at how many head-level spotlights there are on the thing, all shining horizontally. They'd be right in your eyes. I imagine a while on that bridge would leave you with a bit of a headache.

I'd hope that's a trick of the camera angle, and that the lights are really angled at the work surfaces...

The miracles of track lighting... not just to highlight your Nagle print anymore!

Too shiny. I want levers and push buttons!

The outside looks nice though.

Honestly, I'm having mixed feelings here.

I'm not a big fan of the bridge, but it is growin on me. I like the Kelvin and can't wait to see the other ship exteriors though.

This article has a better view of the Kelvin. (It says that the ship is attacked "before Kirk is even born", so it might be from the Romulan War.)
"There was also a large horse in the room, taking up most of it."

That's an... interesting article. I'm not sure how I feel about this now.

That really deosn't tell me anything I didn't already expect. We knew it was to be a reset; changing the look of the bridge or the action of the phasers doesn't really bother me.
