Start off with my one and only non-Federation membes


The Jacorn.
A Galactic Power located in the Alpha Quadrant, to the "West" of the Federation based on Graham's map. (By "West" Use the line seperating the Quadrants as cardinal direction points, so th one seperating the Alpha and Gamma Quadrant would be head "West")
First Contact was made by the USS Japan on Stardate 42274.54153982 while on an Intellagence Mission. They were investigating the rumors of Dominion Ships moving into the Alpha Quadrant along the edge of the Galexy when they encountered this new Species. Thinking that it was a new Dominion war ship sent to invade the USS Japan mistakingly opeaned fire on the small vessil, iniatiatng the Two-Day War, which the Federation, was able to negotiate out of before any serios casualties were suffered on either side. Negotiations with the Jacorn have been strained ever since.
Home Planet: Jacora
Evolved from: Aquatic animal
Avg. Height: 6'2"
Avg. Weight: 221lbs (in earth's gravity)
Avg. Lifespan: 110 years
Avg. Physical Prowess: Relitively equal to humans
Avg. Cognative Prowess: Slightly above humans, but no where near Vulcans.

I like it, but The federation has plenty of humanoid species in its midst. We could do with some other, perhaps less humanoid ones.

Sorry, I never had a problem with the humanoid thing b/c from all the body designes we've seen here on earth the humanoid one works the best overall.

But mine aren't all forhead of the week stuff like most new trek species.

Dazen
Planet: Dazer
Evolved from: Unkown animal predicesor, no terran equivelant, though sounds like a mix of the mythic dwarvs and elves
Avg. Height: 3' 6" (2'-5')
Avg. Weight: 95 lbs. in earth gravity
Avg. Lifespan: 90 years
Avg. Physical Powess: stronger than humans, but not quite as strong as Vulcans.
Avg. Cognatve Prowess: Comperable to humans
Dazer is located on 2,000,000 km from the official A-B seperator on the Alpha side, "South" from the Federation of 2300.
(Has expanded since to incorperate Dazer.)
First Contact was made on stardate 18312.21461187 after five years of obseving the growth of their Warp Program. The Dazen petitioned, and were accepted on Stardate 18479.337899543377 into the Federation.

Quozhans
Planet: Quozhia
Evolved: Snakes
Avg. Height: 8' 6"
Avg. Weight: 230 lbs
Avg. Life Span: 120 years
Avg. Physical Prowess: Sub-human stregnth in normal humanoid motions, however, they excell in muscell patterns to erect themselves, squeeze, and strike.
Avg. Cognative Prowess: Slightly below human levels
Quozhia System is located about 10 LY into federation space from the Bajoran Wormhole.
Although the K'lac gave them Warp drive, the Quozhans were the first species from the to be recognized as having Warp Drive, and were innitiated 8 days before the K'lac on stardate 23514.954337899544

Evolved: Snakes
Avg. Height: 6' 4"
Avg. Weight: 180 lbs.
Avg. Life Span: 120 years
Avg. Physical Prowess: Comperable to Quozhian
Avg. Cognative Prowess: Comperable to Human
Quozhia VI is in the same system as Quozhia
The K'lac are an evolved before the Quozhans, but they grew aware of one another as they approached their space programs. The two planets developed an extensive trading network, which was aided when the K'lac developed warp drive. They gave the technology to the Quozhans, which was orrigionally frowned upon during the K'lac's application process, but the fact was overlooked and they became members on Stardate 23525.913242009133

Aviserin*
Planet: Oviria*
Evolved: Birds
Avg. Height: 4' 8"
Avg. Weight: 57 lbs
Avg. Life span: 50 years
Avg. Physical Prowess: Stronger pectoral, and back musscels, but weaker to humans overall.
Avg. Cognative Prowess: Comperable to humans
Oviria is to the "West" Of the federation from the 2300's (has grown around system after adoptation)
Aviserins joined the Federation on Stardate 25980.874316939887 after thier first Warp flight; On this flight they set two new records, one being highest recorded warp velocity in first warp flight, becomming Warp 3.8. The second being the first warp ship designed to feel like airial flight, in space.

*Have you ever noticed that Rigelians are from Rigel, Romulans from Romulas, Bolians from Bolia, Vulcans from Vulcan, ect, but from earth there's humans...?

Yugloglian
Planet: Yugloglia
Evolved: Big Cats
Avg. Height: 5' 8"
Avg. Weight: 125 lbs.
Avg. Life Span: 100 years
Avg. Physical Prowess: Comperable to humans
Avg. Cognative Prowess: Comperable to humans.
Yugloglia was toward the center of Federation Space in 2300's as a sub-warp species.
They were inducted on stardate 29001.1 after they achieved warp status.
