Re: Speed Limit

In my personal Trek universe, the day after the last mention of the warp limit somebody realised that if you spent a couple of minutes in engineering you could reverse the polarity of the neutron flow and then... quantum. And that meant that warp drive didn't damage space any more.

And the nice thing is, there's nothing on screen to interfere with that idea.
Give a man a fire, and you keep him warm for a day. SET a man on fire, and you will keep him warm for the rest of his life...

What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

You couldn't save John F Kennedy.

I wouldn't mind living with the King, as long as we had seperate bathrooms.

It couldn't save Nemesis

Or the E-D

Or Tasha Yar (either time)

And couldn't make "These are the Voyages....." any more watchable.

Quantum can't regrow Captain Picard's hair

I should be the one to say that.
