Just a topic were you can post your stats at DITL. Like have you ever placed at the Cap contest or gotten very far on sudden death?

I have placed in the cap contest twice but never won it... :(

And I think the highest I have ever been in sudden death is like 7... rather pathetic.

I am the orignator of one of the Polls though :)

I got one mention quite a while ago, better than nothing! (that was under the name Melkur.)

I haven't played Sudden Death for ages but I think I got something like 12 or 14.

i totally suck on the sudden death game though -- no idea how people can identify any of those TOS planets...

I had a few goes at the caption contest. I never really did too well.
The only time I got mentioned was for thinking up last weeks poll.

6 wins, multiple (I'm too lazy to look) honorables. Was tops for a while, but have to reclaim that.

I've entered the Cap Comp twice, neither time was my entry notable enough to be mentioned in the honorary.

Sudden Death, though... The highest I've gotten was up there toward 150.

I have 1 win and 20 honourable mentions in the Caption Competition. I once got over 100 in Sudden Death, but that was a long time ago, and mainly though luck. Those damn planets and nebulae keep getting me.

My problem is the TOS planets. One looks like a dozen others.

Yeah, that too. Voyager species throw me off somewhat, too. I've watched each episode of TNG at least ten times each, some I would not be surprised if it was upwards of 30. Deep Space Nine I've seen everything a few times each. TOS/Enterprise I've not seen in full, but know a good deal about. With Voyager's frequent encounters of different species on a near weekly basis, combined with the fact that I've not seen most of that show in quite some time, it makes for some difficulty.

TNG planets are just as bad. Or at least the ones used on Sudden Death are.

You have to wonder how those people get to like 250.

Graham made note that a lot of people would look up images in a separate browser window while taking the quiz. That's a lot of effort for a contest with no true reward!
