Speaking of England and France (and Star Trek) how many other people found the concept of a Frenchman bragging about having an ancestor at Trafalgar utterly hilarious.

No more so than a man of French descent speaking with a trained Shakespearean accent that would have made Olivier proud.

Well, isn't it obvious? England conquers France in ST. ;)

I could see it now: "What do you mean, the replicators are broken? They're specifically designed to only deliver organ meats and potatoes."

Yup, and actually, we're all dead or irradiated from the Eugenics Wars. We just happened to miss that somehow. :D Dammit, the forum goes down and no one tells me we had WWIII!

To be fair, I do like fried chicken liver quite a lot. Sesos and Lengua burritos are also awesome, though Sesos is hard to come by. I guess most people are repulsed by it, or something...

Ah. I take it you at least know what Sesos is. :D

I have a varied palate; there's really very little food that I find repulsive.

I'm of Eastern European Jewish descent - I grew up using rendered chicken fat as a spread on toast.

Can't imagine why Jewish men have heart attacks at the age of 38...

Yeah, but the food is really good before you die.

EDIT: for the folks who don't know what it is - Sesos

Is there an emoticon for "mmmmmmm....." ?

Oh yeah, I've had that before. Didn't know what it was called in Spanish; it didn't freak me out, but I didn't much care for it, either.

I just can't stomach eating brains. Or tongues or hearts, for that matter.

Haven't tried any heart yet, though I certainly would if it were offered to me. Lengua (tongue) is really good with queso fresco and salsa.

Maybe the concept of eating a brain is what deters you. I enjoy the concept, and the brains.
