I've been trying to use the 'delete marked messages' at the bottom of the private messages page, and I'm getting a 'this is invalid'.

Is there another way to clear the folder?

I've just tried it myself and you're correct it doesn't work. I've reported it to the forum software provider. Hopefully there will be a fix at some point.

You can delete them one at a time. Open a message and hit the delete button. It would take time depending on the amount of messages you have but at least it’s possible.
