I think it would be good if we split this forum into two forums...it'll make it a LOT easier.....otherwise it'll be SIM IC thread and Staplic SIM IC Thread

For the time being, we're going to have to make due. Once the new SIM gets established a bit, we can ask Ian to give it its own thread. It took us several months to get his one. I'd suggest altering the titles to be a bit more identifiable.

I would suggest using all CAPS. That should make it more clear.

The map in the Rules thread is kind of hard to make out. Do I just make up names for Cardassian worlds and show which of the red smudges I want them to be?

A copy should be emailed to you at some point which is much more clear and has numbers on it. If Staplic does not have it I have it and will forward a copy to him.

How big is it?

Might be nice to have one that's large enough for me to blow up and keep track of things like fleets and such visually.

First off:

the map in the rules thread right now is NOT the same map we're starting with...because of certain differences in the way we're starting and the differences in the way this spreadsheet is from the spreadsheet we started the game with the map is different. I will post the map (and send it around) tomorrow when I post the IC and OOC threads.

If you like, I can forward you my list. I cross referenced Cardassian worlds from DS9 and Memory Alpha and named the worlds accordingly.

worlds on my map and on our map are in different locations and numbered differently

My usual method for naming places is to pull up maps of forgien countries and use city names I find there. Every planet in Proud Legion is named after a city in either Iraq or Pakistan.

Alright, map and OOC thread are up. IC thread will go up tomorrow. I've also e-mailed the map to Codan, Tyyr, and BIG, I'll send it to the other players when I finalize who's going where
