I still have my first car. Ford Laser, his names Raymond.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I drive [my parent's] Volvo.

You must have missed this bit in our automotive threads - one of the (IMHO) hottest, most underrated cars ever... the 1962 Volvo P1800, made famous in the original BBC series The Saint:

That's no car. That's an ugly pile of sheet metal on wheels.

I think it's pretty nice looking, personally. And, that would be cold-rolled steel on wheels, IIRC. It would certainly plow right through any of the plastic-and-carbon fiber electric shavers on wheels they try to pass off as cars today.

You can like it and be nuts, as well.

I like the red. The white's a bit 'meh' to me.

The first pic of a white car - with the "ST 1" license plate - is in fact the actual vehicle which Roger Moore drove in the show.

And the first thing that crossed my mind when I was a kid and first saw reruns of The Saint was, "THAT'S a Volvo?!"
