I'm not sure how to take that...

Take it as "I've heard that theory before and I do not like it."

No offence meant to you. :)

Ah ok. I figured it was something like that.
No hard feelings :-)

You might be surprised - have you ever read "Excession"?

However, we can't see the midichlorians and we can't hear the midichlorians. Jar-Jar assaults all the human senses.

I'll second that. Jar-Jar was something new but ultimately a failed idea. Midichlorians took an established concept and royally fucked it up.

Oh man. I was looking at things the wrong way. :bangwall: Jar-Jar ruined one movie, but midichlorians ruined all of Star Wars. Like 3 million clone soldiers defeating a galaxy of some quintillion(?).

So when Padme was pregnant with Luke and Leia, did she have the most midichlorians in the galaxy?

The whole "Jar-Jar ruined the movie" thing is way overblown, as RedLetterMedia points out, the films other flaws are far, far worse. Jar-Jar's easy to fixate on because he's visible and it doesn't require much thought.

Jar Jar had some scenes that, if in another movie, would be funny. The midis... just sucked.
