Not very. Most success rolls are percentage rolls rather than d20; other characteristics are used as a straight modifier (to damage, etc.) as is armor. Experience is used to add skills and increase characteristics.

XP is gained via time played and can be randomly awarded for completing certain tasks or "good" roleplaying.

Hmmm, so fairly alike in the basics. I'll see if I can't rumage up a copy of the WH version of a player's handbook.
