If anyone hasn't already, try and paste your char bio/description in the SW fleet RP set-up thread. I've "stickied" it for easy reference. :)

Seems we're getting a good number of players up. By Friday I'll begin the mission posting. You'll all be in contact with ''someone'' who will be helping you find work. You can also make up your own work and just pass it to the GM (that be me mister man) and we'll create a mission and reward for you to work out.

Hey, Staplic, you're two meters over the limit.

Maybe one of your Corvettes is modified, and slightly shorter, eh? :P

Might I suggest a rolling timeframe approach to this thing: after a few weeks (or individual missions), we advance the timeframe by, say six months or so.

Unless we intend to keep it set during the Clone Wars. Either way is cool with me.

Gracias. Pending further discussion with Deep, I may have yet another edit to my squadron.

And yes, part of the reason I picked those ships is because "Sabaoth" is a slightly-off transliteration (used the same way in some Catholic liturgies) of the Hebrew word Tz'vaot, meaning "armies" or hosts. So, for the name of the splinter group I now run, I chose Tzavah - the singular form.

*EDIT* Quick question, BTW - when you guys were modding your ships, was there a rule of thumb as to how many heavy laser cannon could swap for a turbolaser?

More than "not at all" isn't necessarily a lot...

In other news... OK, since missions are going to become available soon - and I am in fact a mercenary (and a very mercenary one at that :P ) - the bidding may now begin. I am available for escort/convoy duty; for bounty hunting and skip tracing; and various and sundry jobs. Also on retainer, though I may choose to pursue other work if not being utilized at the moment. I will consider offers in cash, equipment and materiel, and/or a share of the proceeds from a venture. Glass beads and trinkets will generally not be accepted, but hey - you never know. No personal checks, please.
