I'd guess I'd say that if I didn't have kids, I'd do what Ian does - but with that amount of time off, I can't imagine being without kids very long.

I don't have kids so that's not an issue. What do I do with the time, I would refer you to this thread :)

I know you don't, that's what I meant - that if I didn't, I'd probably travel as much as you... or quickly if inadvertently end the state of not having kids.

No, not very. She likes to walk up mountains I like Sci-fi and cinema. We each do our own things from time to time. It's never an issue. It's not as if she's against the idea of Sci-fi, just not that into it.
