I write to family out of respect, respect that I took the time to do it. A lot of school work is handwritten as well.

My penmanship is atrocious. It's been so long since I last used cursive regularly that I can't write in it without thinking through every letter(with the exception of my signature, which isn't too bad), so I print. It's ugly. And very rarely used. God bless typing.

Since there's no option for "unruly scrabble that I myself can't even read back half the time," I have to go with the majority with the illegible option.

A point of note, yesterday evening somebody actually tld me the handwriting was quite beatiful.

My handwriting is so beautiful that I often get arrested for breach of the peace.

I have a feeling if we lay several of our writings over one another we'll come up with some universal truth or the 'Ultimate Question'. :D
