It's an interesting article... but nothing that hasn't been said about a billion times before by others. Anakin was messed up, got no help and was almost actively helped along the path.

I don't think he was "helped" along the way, as much as he wasn't helped with his mental issues...
Which may have ended "helping" him along the way...
