There are of course, always exceptions to the rules

Some songs are just brilliant, no matter what, even if they're cheesy you love em'

Ie

Spandau Ballet - Gold

QUALITY song. I always sing it when I'm drunk...

or

Doobie Brothers - Long Train Runnin'

just excellentaciousness
"Beware what you intend to say, those words will always make you pay." - Soilwork

Booze and Strippers!

Cheese goes well with alcohol. Nothing like belting out YMCA, Delilah etc at full volume to give you a sore throat to go with your sore head the next day.

For the most part, I like most/all genres of music. It's the artists I don't like.

For instance, I like Mandy Moore but not Britney Spears.

What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I dislike: Urban
Rap
Pop without any wuality
choirs which are pretending to be able to sing
jumpstyle
hardcore
all genres using a beat as a basis to their music

pretty much everything I dislike besides classical music, modern classical music and certain bits and pieces of metal.

Modern classical, eh? Perhaps you can recommend a DECENT recording of the suite from Hindemith's Mathis der Maler. I haven't been able to find one.

In fact, I inspired my brother-in-law's high-school (American) football team to play "Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi" from Carmina Burana in their locker room before games.

Of course not - the music on its own merits definitely can get one pumped up for a match, though!

My favourite bands are The Beatles, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, The Libertines, Hendrix (not technically a band but he's still awesome), Red Hot Chili Peppers.
So you can gather it's very much rock/punk/funk music. And I'm not an hippie, yet.

Music I hate is rap, gangster rap, trance (don't get me started on trance)... Anything that has no "singing" in, really.
