Set Your Sci-FI Filter To "Suck"
Re: Set Your Sci-FI Filter To "Suck"
Hmm despite Blackstar being a furry cat from another dimension I tend to agree often with her. Maybe I'll like it. Gotta finisih B5 first! And maybe Heroes have all of season 2 left.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

nBSG was great in its first season, alright in its second, sucktacular in its third, and quality picked up again in the fourth. I'd at least advise you to watch the first season.

There's something appealing about a woman that's been around the block a few times. The barely legal thing is pretty creepy (maybe because I have a daughter).Mikey wrote:

I myself have noticed since my daughter was born that my attitude to over-ripe and under-dressed teens has gone from "Wow, lookit that!" to "How do her parents let her out of the house like that?"

It's partially watching my peers drool over the girls in the coffee shop that are literally half their age (one of them has a daughter that age). And the absolute saturation of barely legal porn.Mikey wrote:I myself have noticed since my daughter was born that my attitude to over-ripe and under-dressed teens has gone from "Wow, lookit that!" to "How do her parents let her out of the house like that?"
I appreciate a good looking chick as much as the next guy but if it's a choice between the teen and the MILF, the later wins out every time. At least you don't have to teach them how to perform certain "favours".
I'll say this much though, when my daughter turns 13 (or around there) she we won't be visiting certain friends.

Women start looking attractive around 16 for me. Thankfully I'm pretty happy with my current relationship cause without that a 16 year old looking like an 18 year old is a recipe for disaster.
Although I do intend to forever think that 18 year olds are attractive. When I'm 60 I better still think 18 year olds are hot

How'd you like season 1? I loved the whole show, personally, though season 2 gets down to business sooner (uh? thanks... writers strike?).Monroe wrote: And maybe Heroes have all of season 2 left.
Did I just steer a thread away from creepy sex-talk?
*shakes head*
Doesn't sound like anything's broken up there... Hmm.

Oh I loved Season 1. Love the cheerleader, her uncle, the time traveler, and telepath cop. Rest of the characters are good but those few were awesome.

I wouldn't be so quick to judge. I love BSG so far, but the jury's out on the ending. They might totally botch it.
Sure this show looks a little silly, but I thought the same about B5 before I actually started really going on it. We shall see.

Uh, Tsu, Blackstar's been gone for like three months.
Man, that actualy seems like such a long time ago we booted his ass of the forum.
