I've an XDA Stellar - or HTC Tytn II.

Don't really use the multimedia features, but its handy for emails when out and about, and I can store all the addresses and contacts of I might ever need and have them with me all the time.

Can also use it for ping testing. And for looking myself up on Google Earth when I get lost.

And yes, I do make the odd phone call on it

The only reason I bought a trakfone thingie was because of a trip to Utah I took last August. I don't really like cell phones. Lord knows how many frikkin' idiots almost backed into me while I was a cart pusher because they had those effing things glues to their ears!

Too true - I guess I have to add at this juncture that in addition to the outdated phone, I have an outdated Motoral Bluetooth earpiece. In fact, in New Jersey it is now illegal to drive while talking on a cell-phone unless you have a hands-free device.

Speaking of which, I hate my Motorola - does anyone know anything about Jawbone earpieces?

The law was passed in CA two years ago but was given a "grace period" for people to "adjust." The enforcement period of no cellphones while driving begins I believe this June.

Yeah ban cell phones but not eating/reading/putting on makeup all things I've seen people do.

A comedian whose name I forget complained about the phone companies trying to give him a brand new spangly phone to replaced his much loved crap one. He likened it to someone trying to take his dog and replace it with a wolf.
