At what level should we consider these people to be? Iron age, Bronze age, medieval, Roman, or perhaps akin to 20th century?

The Andurin are akin to the Babylonians or Summerians in technology. The others (ones still existing) range from Iron Age to the later medieval age depending on geography and resources.

Uhmm, maybe a dumb question,. but how is a global war going to take place if most technology s medieval at best? You'd need communication, fast communication to coordinate a global war, or next to independent generals.

Its a lot smaller of a world. The size of the whole of the world is about half the size of Europe and northern africa. If you shirnk how much of the world is known then things like East v West Roman Empires, Alexander the Great's conquest, Persian War, things of that nature soon become World Wars in their own right by involving the majority of the nations that are currently known.

Meh. The core could have a much higher concentration of heavier elements, or some such.

Thanks. When I started working on it I wanted a universe as complex as Lotr or Star Wars (when it was new ). Something that could easily be added onto with stories about other characters and some gray areas that are mentioned but not detailed described. That way people's imaginations can run amonk.
