In the first movie, all of the characters have great scenes, but in the second, Thomas Wilson gets a lot more lines and screen time, and in the third, Christopher Lloyd gets to expand Doc's character. It makes for a great series, and a great example of how to write all-around enjoyable movies.

I'm glad I took the time to re-watch them, also. You get a lot more out of movies if you see them again at different points in your life.

There's also a lot of subtle details that Zemeckis tends to put in a lot of his films. So many details that one could not catch them all in one viewing.

I fully intend to buy a DeLorean in a couple of years. Sweetest ride ever, despite the fact that it's not really that great a car.

I would trade my DeLorean for a Hoverboard though.

My favorite moments are the end of part 2, Marty seeing Doc dissapear, then receiving a letter from him, then running up to 1955 Doc right after he had originally been sent back. The beginning of part 3, finding the DeLorean sealed up in a cave for 100 years was really cool to me for some reason.

I liked that whole setup as well. It was a lot better than the 'cliffhanger' at the end of part 1 (they had no idea they'd be making any sequels).

Agreed, although watching Marty and Jennifer gawk as Doc dumped beer and garbage into Mr. Fusion was a funny moment.
