I have no objection to NX-06 Buran. I'm actually amazed that many of us like the name, with all the other ones we were spitting out.

It makes it harder to RP without a familiar medium to work with.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Sorry I'm late. I don't mind Buran, but I also had thought of Beagle.

I think Buran is slightly more appropriate. dunno why but I can only think of the canine version of Beagle.

HMS Beagle was Darwin's ship. And it was named after the hunting dog.

Intellectually I realize the Beagle was Darwins ship, and yet for some reason I can't help but think of Snoopy when I see it proposed as a ship name...atleast if we went w/ Beagle we'd have the crews shoulder patch design!

If you've seen The Cage than you shouldn't have any problem. Anyways put up a poll and see what people want.Monroe wrote:

How about New Horizons? It certainly represents exploration the best.

I know I'm late, but I'll second Buran.
