Thanks, today was my first day of freedom. I no longer work for a living.

Much appreciated.

I imagine it's a fairly strange feeling suddenly having so much less to do!

Thanks, appreciate it. It really did come as a shock. Dad and I often commented on how healthy and robust Trouble was. She could run and jump like crazy, and often did. We still don't have any idea what went wrong. I guess I'll always wonder.

In a way yes, but, we've been planning this for almost 2 years now. It was something we discussed with mum not long after she was diagnosed with cancer. It all hung around selling a house we had. That started with allowing the tenants to stay until the end of contract and then doing the place up for sale. Once that was complete, we put it on sale, just as brexit hit. So we didn't sell for a year. In fact it was a year to the day from putting it on the market that they moved in.

Because of this we've kinda got used to the idea and started planning for what we would do with our time. Mostly going on holidays.

Merry Christmas and happy new year all!
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Not bad! Rather flat out in the busy season but only 6 weeks left until it’s over and down to 3 day weeks!

So my job as of Monday will start three 13.33 hour day work weeks. Split into two teams. Team A will work Monday through Wednesday and Team B will work Thursday through Saturday. Because there are two Greg Ms (they forgot about that apparently) I have to wait until the other Greg M makes a decision since he has seniority over me.

I am a little oddball with this because I travel to other locations and really have had my own schedule seperate from the rest of the guys who are mainly stationed at the local office.

Unfortunately it cuts into my overtime. Maybe they will let me do five 13.33 hour work weeks.

Also we were told as of this morning, we are not to work on planes until they have been decominanted first.

Also the hospital my Mom is staying at for her recovery from her kidney transplant has went into lock down. It has upset my Dad and my Mom. My Dad has been let to sleep over by her side for the past month. Now he can't.
