Original idea for Ep 7-9, or What was Lucas Thinking?

Well that's a shock. Given what he did with 1-3 it can hardly be a surprise.

I have to say I would love to see a movie about tiny people fighting big monster Midichlorians, if only for the perpetual shrieking howls of outrage it would provoke.
Give a man a fire, and you keep him warm for a day. SET a man on fire, and you will keep him warm for the rest of his life...

That is beyond awful.

Honey I shrunk the kids....
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

That's an off day script idea for a TV series when you have ran out of ideas to fill out a season... That sort of episode which is usually the worse of that season too.

I wonder how Rick McCallum would have felt about this one.

Hey. say what you will, but Sub Rosa was absolutely brilliant! As a comedy, that is, but still... That episode alone makes season 7 worthwile.
As for the Star Wars idea... Yeah, it's not great. The artist impressions make it even sillier.

I am sure some Trek writer came up with a script idea that they had to shrink a shuttlecraft down to microscopic levels to go save one of the members of the crew from a fatal illness. Other writers probably looked at him like he was stupid.
They did have something like that in DS9 but that was a fun episode.

Or that they wouldn't get away with such a blatant ripoff of Fantastic Voyage.McAvoy wrote:I am sure some Trek writer came up with a script idea that they had to shrink a shuttlecraft down to microscopic levels to go save one of the members of the crew from a fatal illness. Actually, given the direction they went, copying of content, acting, writing, direction and general production of SW 7 & 8, this would have been a massive improvement! Screw you Disney!
