My uncle raised meat rabbits. He gave us one once. This huge, dead bunny. He'd cleaned it already, but my mother still had quite a time figuring out what the heck to do with it! It was delicious though.

Thanks. And I'll try anything once. Whether I like it or not... ;)

Rabbit is amazing in stews, of course, but you can also bread it and fry it like chicken. I'm also for trying anything once, food wise. Like chocolate covered grasshoppers, they actually taste like toasted almonds! Also, alligator is really good meat. My uncle (by marriage) Larry is a Cajun tugboat captain, but in his spare time he works with one of his brothers hunting alligators in Louisiana, mostly for their leather, and they earn $150 per sq. foot for it. He also brings back LOTS of other seafood, like prawns, oysters, squid, etc....man, I'm getting hungry!

I hate to say t, but alligator does in fact taste a bit like chicken - but with a firmer, beefier texture.

And rabbit must be cooked very carefully to avod being very tough and gamey. Done right, it's excellent - somewhat similar to wild boar.
