NASA physicist, artist unveil warp-speed craft design

Now they're throwing in cool CG rendering along with their calculations. Pretty cool.

And they're Trekkies too. 8)

Of course the technology to actually make it work doesn't exist yet. It's still mostly just a thought experiment that shows it's at least probably possible.

The design loks a little refined to me. Too clean.

I'd expect it would - remember, it's a concept based on purely theoretical musings, not on any actual applicable science.

Its funny that everyone says how totallu beyond us this is, but forget we went from not flying to on the moon in less than 70 years.

God, I haven't seen that show in years.

I think your underestaimating the advance of technology. I dont expect it soon, but I doubt it will be that far away, assuming society doesnt collapse that is/
