SF Debris: These Are The Voyages...

Post by Tsukiyumi »

Chuck is extremely generous.

I think the more time passes, the more I absolutely despise this episode. The forced TNG insert, Tucker dies off-screen, Archer's speech is off-screen... I hope Rick Berman ends up homeless somewhere cold.

30 minute review, not bad.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I like to pretend this episode never happened.

With as many faults as the episode has, in all fairness the speech is best left off-screen. I don't think they could've written something to fill the moment or meet the expectation--leaving it up to the imagination was a good choice.

To be quite honest, this episode is the worst in the whole Star Trek universe!!! The whole TNG reference link to the episode Pegasus TNG was stupid, Enterprise started out not bad. The writers must have been smoking something when they wrote this as for me it totally destroyed the series for me.
