Opinionated Next Gen Episode Guide looks at the season six penultimate episode. Brannon Braga creates an unintended theme for the show: Picard cannot leave the Enterprise without Riker screwing it up. This time they manage to break time and space itself. Oops.

Funny have never seen this episode, must have missed it.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I remembered this one. I never saw an artificial quantum singularity power source before. Plus Patricia Tallman was in it.

Really? Its been almost twenty years since the end of TNG and you missed this one? The best part is the smiley face in the warp core breach.

Beverly taking the disruptor shot was the scene from that one that stuck with me. Wasn't real happy as a teenager to see my favorite MILF being shot.
