Dude, they CGI'd in lens flares in NeoTrek. JJ Abrams will find a way to flare.

That's what I meant - we saw with the PT what can happen when you try to cling to a paradigm past its prime. A shift away from epic space opera might be exactly what the franchise needs.Tyyr wrote: However I don't really feel like that's such a bad thing. At it's best the EU showed that Star Wars can do lots of different things. It can be used as a rich setting. A few movies that focus in on certain characters or events that don't have reprecussions for the entire galaxy would honestly be welcomed by me.

They'll probably become 8km.

Like the Super Star Destroyer "official size" before someone see it was not enough to match the model size and put it at 19Km ^^Captain Seafort wrote:They'll probably become 8km.

I am just happy that Lucas wont have nothing to do with the project.
If Abrams will be on SW, who is going to do the next ST?

Agreed - it wouldn't be Star Wars without him.SomosFuga wrote:I am just happy that Lucas wont have nothing to do with the project.

Understandable... I'm just saying maybe we should give the guy some slack if he's making the effort to communicate in our tongue.Captain Seafort wrote:True, but double negatives are one of my pet peeves.Mikey wrote:You know, English isn't everyone's first language.

Re: J.J. Abrams to direct Star Wars Episode 7
The statement "won't have nothing" is a double negative - it's a statement that he will have something to do with the new films. Which is a good thing, given that Lucas is very good at the high-level conceptual stuff, even if he can't write decent dialogue and is a bit hit-and-miss as a director.SomosFuga wrote:I am just happy that Lucas won't have nothing to do with the project.
