Good deal, man. :)

I was a bit worried myself for a bit, but apparently we're not open. Whew.

Good deal for you, too. I work my usual $ PM-1 AM shift Friday, so i avoids the vast majority of the insanity. And I'm out in receiving for most of it anyway. As good as I can get it. :D

Not only do I have Turkey Day off, but I have regular days off Wednesday and Friday. This becomes a mini-holiday for me!

(I usually work 4 days a week: Mon, Tue, Thu and Sat).

Working for a Canadian company dealing with our US customers, I have to say, even though I am at work, that I do indeed appear to have had Wednesday and today off, and most likely will have a very, very slow Friday too...

Hurray for Thanksgiving! :P

I have many things I am thankful for. I have had tragedies and valley, but also miracles and hills. One of the things I'm thankful for is finding these boards and being accepted here. Thanks. :)

I have broken two bones in my right hand (am right handed). Hospital were unable to reset them so tomorrow morning I have an operation to put me to sleep, cut my hand open, and if necessary insert pins or a plate. I am dreading being put to sleep.

So long as you wake up afterwards.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

The waking up afterwards is the thing that is worrying me, but thanks sure it'll be fine.
