An interesting article I found. I agree with most of the ideas, the idea about getting outside writters to help with plots is nice, but only if they work with the series writers to make sure they dont shit all over continuity or make sure they know the back story.

So... in essence, someone has taken the time to write a blog article in order to say nothing but, "For a new 'Trek show, I'd like it to incorporate all the elements that were the hallmark of the best 'Trek in the past." Not exactly a ground-breaking revelation of literary philosophy here.
