I haven't been over the whole thing yet, but apparently, this guy has worked out how to build a functional (sub-light) oversized NCC-1701 without bankrupting the country. Interesting concept, at least.

Really? I didn't think we had the technology to pull 1000+ g. :P

It's being developed in Area 52, Seafort. ;)
