Dark Shadows

Post by Jim »

I just starting watching this original 1966 series on Netflix yesterday. I am 4 episodes in lol.

Apparently, the 160 episode run that Netflix has does NOT start with episode 1. It starts with the introduction of Barnabas. Well, technically the intro of his hand. It is a bit slow so far, but with episodes only being 22 minutes it is easy to zip through. Hopefully it will keep my interest and I can keep going with it.
Ugh... do not thump the Book of G'Quan...

This is, in fact, the USEFUL beginning of the series if not the technical one.

Dark Shadows... I recall it not exactly being... well-budgeted? ;)

Yet, one of those shows - pre-relaunch DW - in which the physical-plant cheese mattered not at all.

I remember watching this show on local television in re-runs as a kid, and I recall Barnabas used to scare the hell out of me.
